University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF).

The University of Agriculture is a public research university in Faisalabad, Pakistan. It is the second largest university of Pakistan by area with a covered area of 2550 acres as compared to Punjab University’s 3000 acres which is the first largest.

“ESTABLISHMENT OF KAMYAB JAWAN SPORTS ACADEMIES (HIGH PERFORMANCE & RESOURCE CENTERS) AND YOUTH OLYMPICS – HEC” The Project is in line with Pakistan’s Vision 2025 objectives which recognize the inherent potential of Pakistani people to excel in sports and foresees it as a tremendous opportunity to develop a healthy nation and curb militancy and violence.

The specific objectives of the Project include:

Establishment of Sports Academies (High Performance and Resource Centers) for sports including Hockey, Cricket, Football, Boxing, Squash, Weightlifting, Handball, Athletics, Judo, volleyball & Wrestling and High Performance Movement Analysis Lab & Rehabilitation Center The Project’s objectives are in line with the long-term strategic goals as described in Vision 2025. The specific objectives of the Project are as under;

To develop HEC’s team to compete at national and international competitions.

Arranging Sports Gala for specific games.

To produce professional players in particular sports.

To initiate youth sports movement and develop sports culture.

To establish Sports Academies and High Performance and Resource Centers in Higher Education Institutions around the county to provide continued scientific support for developing sports in Pakistan, simultaneously promoting sound health, safety, and physical fitness.

To introduce Universities games for mass participation of youth in sports.
